Development
Build agents, staging copies and preview environments.
Development machines are bursty: idle for long stretches, then fully loaded for a few minutes. Processor-heavy plans suit that pattern better than memory-heavy ones.

What this workload actually needs
Conditions that have to be true before it will work, whatever plan you pick.
Requirements
- SSH key access, which you add during configuration or afterwards from the service page.
- Your own CI runner registration, if you are attaching the machine to a pipeline.
Deployment considerations
- Build caches fill disks faster than teams expect. Check the storage upgrade path early.
- A staging copy that holds real customer data inherits the same obligations as production.
- Snapshots are a convenient reset for a preview environment where the plan offers them.
What we do not do
- We do not operate a managed container platform. Kubernetes and similar tools are yours to install and run.
- No build minutes, artefact storage or registry service is included with a server plan.
