How domain pricing works
Registration is the first term only
It buys the minimum term shown in the table. It is not an annual subscription price.
Renewal is what you pay afterwards
For some extensions it is materially higher than the registration price. Both figures are always shown together.
Transfer adds a term
A transfer usually adds one year to the remaining term, where the registry allows it. The remaining time is not lost.
Refunds on domains
A registration, renewal or transfer submitted to the registry is generally not refundable, because the registry has already been charged. The Refund and Cancellation Policy states this per product category.
